Heather H. Szajda, has practiced for twenty-five years and focuses her practice in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, and tax planning. Heather began her career in North Carolina before moving to Washington, DC with her husband. Her legal practice in Virginia began at Williams Mullen, PC before launching her solo practice in 2010.
She is a member of the Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland and District of Columbia Bars. She is a member of the Richmond Estate Planning Council and the Trust Administrator's Council of Richmond.
Heather is Past-President of Commonwealth Community Trust, and Past-President of the Trust Administrator's Council of Richmond and is a former co-chair of the VBA Wills for Heroes program. She is a strong believer in community involvement, she has served as an officer for the PTA association at her children's elementary school, volunteered as a Girl Scout leader for Troop 5184 and is a member of the Commonwealth Chapter of the DAR. Heather has served as a member of the Board of Governors for the Virginia Bar Trusts and Estates Section, has been included in Virginia Business Magazine's Legal Elite in Taxes, Estates and Trusts, and is listed in Best Lawyers in America.
