LISA D. BINGEN has over 20 years of experience in fiduciary administration. Lisa began her career as a law clerk and then an associate attorney at Freed & Shepherd, P.C. where her practice focused on estate planning, estate and trust administration, and corporate law. In 2000, Lisa joined Wachovia Bank, which later merged with Wells Fargo Bank, as a Trust & Fiduciary Specialist and Vice President.  Lisa’s responsibilities included review and implementation of estate planning documents, the administration of probate proceedings, administration of estates through deceased grantor trusts, and coordination and review of estate tax and fiduciary income tax returns.

In 2011, Lisa joined SunTrust Bank where she was a Fiduciary Risk Manager and Senior Vice President.  At SunTrust, Lisa was responsible for providing guidance on domestic wealth management fiduciary issues, serving as a board member of the SunTrust Delaware Trust Company, serving as a chairperson or voting member on various fiduciary committees, drafting fiduciary risk policies and procedures, and conducting training on various fiduciary topics.

Lisa received her B.A. in Russian Studies from the University of Virginia and her J.D. cum laude from the University of Richmond T.C. Williams School of Law.  She is a member of the Richmond Estate Planning Council and the Richmond Trust Administrator's Council.
