Scott W. Masselli focuses his practice on estate planning and estate and trust administration. Scott helps clients create estate plans that address their family’s goals, including tax planning and preserving wealth for future generations. He also advises fiduciaries and families in administering estates and trusts, including tax filings, investment management, and avoiding litigation. Scott has written and presented on fiduciary litigation, estate and gift tax planning, and modifying irrevocable trusts to address changes in tax laws and other circumstances. Scott also assists clients with their charitable goals, including forming nonprofits and family foundations.

Scott practiced for over five years at McGuireWoods LLP in Richmond before joining Virginia Estate & Trust Law, PLC.

Scott earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from William & Mary Law School, where he served as a member of the William & Mary Law Review. He received his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in economics from Virginia Tech.
